What’s on in Wellington this summer? Get the Guide!

Now available – print copies of this year’s Wellington Summer Events Guide, which lists around 40 arts, heritage and community events taking place in and around the town from May to September. They’ll be available in the usual array of shops, pubs and public buildings in Wellington, as well as via a mail-drop in The Telford Journal in some parts of the town (we can’t afford to cover everywhere, sorry!)

Every year, this Guide is a testament to the huge amount of community time and creativity that goes into organising events in the town – because most of those listed are created and run by unpaid volunteers. So if ever you’re feeling down about the town, or if ever you overhear someone bemoaning the lack of community spirit in modern-day Wellington, remember this Guide and all the thousands of volunteer hours it’s events represent. And do, of course, get along to as many events as you can!
