WITH STORY: Wellington Town Council and Wellington Market Company joined forces to celebrate the anniversary of the town’s earliest recoreded market charter, granted by the King Henry III eight centuries ago. The charter, dating back to 1244 was celebrated in Wellington square followed by music and the appointment of three officials for this year by Wellington’s ancient manor court.
